Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser using Canvas. Your files never leave your device.
Why does my JPG have a colored background?
JPG doesn't support transparency. When you convert from PNG (or any format with transparent pixels), those pixels are filled with the background color you choose.
What's the difference between JPG and WebP?
WebP usually produces smaller files than JPG at the same visible quality. JPG is universally supported; WebP works on all modern browsers.
Does it preserve image dimensions?
Yes. The image keeps the same pixel dimensions; only the file format changes. To resize, use the Image Resizer tool.
