How to use this pomodoro timer

  1. Press Space (or Start) to begin a 25-minute focus block.
  2. When it ends, you get a sound + notification and the timer rolls into a 5-minute break (or a 15-minute long break every 4th cycle).
  3. Add tasks below the timer. Set one as Active and its pomodoro-count tracks completed sessions.
  4. Open Settings to customize durations, auto-start, sound and notifications.
  5. Check the 7-day chart for your streak β€” copy CSV to keep records.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

A productivity method by Francesco Cirillo: 25 minutes of focused work, 5 minutes of break, repeated four times, then a longer 15–30 minute break. Helps with sustained attention and avoiding burnout.

Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes. The countdown is wall-clock based, so it stays accurate even when the tab is in the background, and the page title shows the remaining time.

Will I miss the alert if I'm in another window?

Enable browser notifications in Settings β€” you'll get a system notification on completion. The sound also plays unless your tab is fully muted.

Where are my tasks and stats stored?

In your browser's localStorage on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing site data will reset them.
