Image Cropper
Crop images with full drag-and-resize handles directly in your browser. Lock to common aspect ratios (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2, 2:3, 5:4) or set custom, rotate by 90°, flip horizontally or vertically, and export to JPG / PNG / WebP with quality and output-scale control. Process multiple images in a queue and download all at once. Re-encoding always strips EXIF metadata.
All cropping happens in your browser. Re-encoding via canvas removes EXIF metadata.
How to use this image cropper
- Drop, click or paste an image (multiple images are supported as a queue).
- Drag the corners or edges of the crop box to resize, drag the centre to move.
- Pick an aspect-ratio preset or set a custom ratio — the box snaps and stays locked.
- Use Rotate, Flip H, Flip V to transform; pick output format and quality.
- Download the cropped image, or process the queue and download them all.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is loaded into a local canvas in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
Why does it strip EXIF metadata?
Re-encoding through canvas always discards EXIF — that's a guarantee, not an option. Useful when you don't want to share GPS or camera info.
Which formats can I export to?
JPG (smaller, no transparency), PNG (lossless, alpha) and WebP (modern, often smaller than JPG at the same quality). Quality slider applies to JPG and WebP.
Can I batch-crop the same area on many images?
Add multiple images, set an aspect ratio, and use the queue tabs to crop each. Use Download all to save them in order.
